Anne Voute

Anne Voute is a director with Pixl Press.  When she isn't managing books, writers and readers, Anne is the Physiotherapy Practice Leader at Fraser Health Authority, British Columbia, where she conducts business analysis, process improvement and heuristic training in hospital health care. Anne lives in Delta, BC with her family, energetic black lab and erudite parrot.

Nina Munteanu

Nina Munteanu is a Canadian ecologist and internationally published novelist of science fiction and fantasy. In addition to eight published novels, Nina has written short stories, articles and non-fiction books, which have been translated into several languages throughout the world. Recognition for her work includes the Midwest Book Review Reader's Choice Award, finalist for Foreword Magazine's Book of the Year Award, the SLF Fountain Award, the Delta Optimist Reviewers Choice and the Aurora Award, Canada's top prize in science fiction.

Costi Gurgu

Costi Gurgu is an internationally acclaimed digital artist and designer and an Aurora Award finalist. He has illustrated and designed book covers, magazine and newspaper covers and feature editorials for a variety of publications since 1999. Costi served as art director, designer and illustrator for clients from Romania, France, Italy, England and Canada. He helped design the French fashion magazine Madame Figaro and served as the art director for Playboy and Tabu magazines.

Drawing inspiration from Rene Magritte, Gorgio de Chirico, Neville Brody, Dali and H.R. Giger, Costi became the creative director of MediaPro Group, the largest publishing company in Romania. Costi is a celebrated award-winning fiction writer in Romania, where he has sold five titles and over forty short stories and won over twenty awards. He currently resides in Toronto, Canada, where he writes, teaches digital design and creates graphic designs and illustrations for various media through his company Super Pixel Design.

Anne Moody

Anne Moody  is a celebrated Canadian artist and plant ecologist with the British Columbia provincial government. She has been drawing and painting since childhood and won her first award at a "Painting in the Parks Program" when she was nine.

"I consider myself a realist, strongly tempted by abstract elements wrapped in story. The images that speak to me are scenes that convey meaning beyond superficial beauty. My compulsion to paint takes charge when an image embedded in my memory will not allow me to rest until I promote it to canvas. My choice of medium, water-colour, acrylics or oil, is dictated by the nature of the image."

Merridy Cox

Merridy Cox is a Toronto-based editor, indexer and photographer, specializing in technical and scientific works and the natural sciences. An amateur field naturalist, Merridy is managing editor of Lyrical Leaf Publishing and has published several ebooks on natural history. Her poetry and photography have appeared in several anthologies.
